Get It Right Same old love by American singer Selena Gomez from her second studio album, revival, released in 2015. There comes a time when the same old love doesn't work anymore for one of the lovers. In Nigeria, it appears some sections of the country are claiming marginalization in the national relationship. To them the same old love is not good enough. How can we ensure that every ethnic group, religion or zone of the country feels the love of all? How can we get it right? The answer is probably found in the words of the Nigerian national anthem, Arise o compatriots, Nigeria’s call obey. What is Nigeria’s call. Well, it is to serve our fatherland with love and strength and faith. That's it and there it is. Love, and strength and faith. Now, faith in what? I think what we mean is faith in a country where there is freedom, peace and unity. The word peace also appears in the second stanza of the national anthem. Peace suggests love. But if the same old love does not bring peace in political and economic balance then people are going to start to ask questions. Are some sections of Nigeria tired of the same old love? If people are tired then they may not be able to serve our fatherland with love and strength and faith. If they are tired of the same old love, they ll lose faith in the nation and our economic competitiveness will suffer. We don't want that. Our hidden economics for you.
