gvA Update

To Avoid a Political SOS It can happen. In fact it happens. You are losing your lover that you counted on, but then started taking for granted. So things are starting to look ominous. Things are starting to look bad, and then you ask, Where are those happy days? They seem so hard to find. The great Swedish pop group Abba in their 1975 hit song SOS has got it all together. For most lovers, if you jilt them hard and then you don't come back quickly you will find that they would have closed their mind and probably gone for good. Politics can be the same way, guys. There are some people that are very key to you or your partyâs success. But soon you start to take them for granted. In Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) found out the hard way when they ignored party stalwarts like former president Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Bukola Saraki and Abdulfatha Ahmed, among others. What happened is that they lost the presidential election of 2015 and have since then issued an SOS. Funny enough, you would think that major political parties would learn from this. Folks, I know we often say that no one is indispensable. Well, let me tell you this, some people are more indispensable that others. It is also not very wise to always dismantle what you have got in order to start from scratch. That can be a terrible mistake. In Nigeria, yes in Nigeria where it just happened, there are signs that some of the major parties are ready to make that type of mistake again. Well, they better then be ready for their SOS cry. " Our hidden economics for youâ.
