Quick View: Ranking Corruption Transparency and accountability are now watch words in global business and international relations. Globally, much attention is now focused on corruption in the public sector to assess the extent to which governments, public sector employees and even the private sector are judiciously and prudently managing funds and resources. Reviewing Transparency Internationalâs reports since 2012 some countries have made significant improvements in their fight against corruption, with beneficial impacts on society. ANSWERS 1- Of the countries listed here, The United Kingdom made the biggest improvement in the score against corruption between 2012 and 2015, jumping 7 points. 2- Among the African countries listed here, leaping 8 points, Senegal made the biggest jump in the score against corruption between 2012 and 2015. Although Nigeria is no longer among the top 10 most corrupt countries in the world, it still has a serious corruption problem as its score against corruption got worse between 2014 and 2015
